Educational Consultations w/Laurie Levy: In-depth review of student’s educational history (Evaluations, IEPs, transcripts, report cards).
Subject Area Tutoring & Study Groups: Subject area specialists work with students to support school curriculum to create motivation, build confidence and improve performance.
College Advisory Service: Subject area tutors and learning specialists work with students to improve proficiency in reading, math and writing, connecting skills to lifelong learning.
Standardized Test Prep: Area specialists work one-on-one or in small groups providing instruction, strategies and simulated testing environments (PSAT, SAT, SAT II, ACT, SSAT, ISEE, GEPA & HSPA ).
Writing Enrichment: Writing Instructors teach strategies to enhance written expression - geared to the demands of school curriculum and standardized tests.
Services for Students with Special Needs
Evaluations: Certified Learning Consultants and Psychologists provide Educational and Intellectual Evaluations. Individualized plans of remediation, accommodations and intervention will be recommended based on diagnostic results.
Remediation of Specific Learning Disabilities: Learning specialists provide remediation for a wide range of learning differences such as Dyslexia, Non-Verbal Learning Disability, Attention Deficit Disorder and Language Based Learning Differences.
College Advisory Service w/Laurie Levy: Sensitive and holistic college guidance for students with special needs.
